Cedre Open Day
On 19 June 2009, Cedre held an open day to celebrate its 30th anniversary. This event was the opportunity for Cedre’s partners, suppliers, neighbouring companies and the general public to discover these premises which are generally out-of-bounds.
In total, nearly 300 people attended the workshops and demonstrations on offer throughout the afternoon: chemistry and ecotoxicology experiments, spill containment, oil recovery, worksite organisation…
As part of this open day, an exhibition composed of nearly one hundred photos on the theme of pollution response was presented to the public. The winning photo selected by public vote (below) was a close-up of oil at the water surface.

The winner of the competition organised for this event was David Salou, 15 years old. He was the only one to find all the right answers. Well done to him!
