ARCOPOL

• Project framed in the Atlantic Area Transnational Programme focused on the preparedness, response to and mitigation of accidental marine pollution impacting on the shoreline.

MIGR'HYCAR

• Project to develop a decision-making tool in the event of accidental hydrocarbon spillage in rivers and estuaries.

VALDECO

• Project financed by the French National Research Agency, aiming at a better ecological valorization of the environmental damages of an accidental water pollution.

LOSTCONT

• Project designed to devise practical, operational responses to the problems of overboard loss of containers from ships in the Bay of Biscay and its approaches, and their drifting and possible running ashore.

AMPERA

• European coordination action to foster prevention and best response to accidental marine pollution.

GALERNE

• Project funded by the French National Research Agency designed to assess the risk generated by chemicals spills at sea.

EROCIPS

• Emergency Response to coastal Oil, Chemical, and Inert Pollution from Shipping. A transnational initiative focusing on the need for local and regional governments to pursue an integrated approach to emergency response for coastal pollution incidents.
• Tools produced by Cedre as part of its technical assistance contract with the French regions involved in the project and leaders of work package 2 “Response information” and work package 4 “Training information”.

CYCLEAU

• Programme designed to find innovative ways of managing and improving the water environment, share knowledge and experience of water management and involve local communities in the management of local rivers.

CONTINMAR

• Working group foncusing on the development of contingency plans for accidental marine spills.

• Project on the development of Hungary's national accidental water pollution control system, contributing to the implementation of the Water Framework Directive.

• Project, partially funded by EC-DG Environment, aimed at reviewing available underwater means used to detect heavy oil slicks on the seafloor and chemicals dispersed in the water column as a result of shipwrecking.
